My GAPS Story:

I am a wife to Josh and 7 (yes, 7!) kiddos call me “Mom”. I began a home baking business in 2019 and was able to turn one of my favorite hobbies into a business. I began to notice that a large percentage of my customers were requesting recipe substitutions and alterations due to food sensitivities and allergies. I enjoyed this new challenge as I worked hard to incorporate new ingredients and still making a delicious product.

But deep in my heart, I knew there was a better way.

I remembered my own journey. When our 5th child was born and had significant health challenges, she also developed significant food aversions that gave her an assortment of symptoms, including chronic constipation, eczema all over her body, and chronic ear infections. After trying one thing after another, and still not seeing any improvement in her health, I was introduced to the GAPS diet protocol. We followed it the best we knew how for 9 months. We finally found something that was helping her. She is no longer taking any conventional medications and hasn’t had any eczema flare ups since she first was on the protocol.

I want to share my knowledge and experience with the people I encountered through my baking business. I hope to provide encouragement and education for those that feel hopeless or have tried so many things and need guidance. I hope to raise awareness to this amazing protocol, so in January 2023 I became a certified GAPS health coach and would love to walk with you on your journey to better health!
